Improve Your Home's Air Quality with Wave Home Solutions

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Wave Home Solutions for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My daughter suffers from moderate asthma.  There have been months at a time when her cough is persistent.  Her allergist has suggested that she may be allergic to something at home – possibly in the air.  This is frustrating to say the least because how are we to know what it is?? We don’t have any visible mold, but what if we just can’t see it?  We run a dehumidifier in the basement, but I’m not quite sure it’s enough.

Wave Home Solutions is a company that specializes in purification systems for homeowners, including those for air, water, providing ventilation, and saving energy.  In visiting their website, I learned a great deal about the issues of air quality that may occur in a home.  For example, I learned that although we are using a dehumidifier to dry out the air, the dehumidifier is obviously not removing the toxins that are in the air.  I also learned that there is an illness called Sick Home Syndrome, in which people experience headaches, asthma, respiratory problems, nausea, difficulty concentrating, and more.

In order to combat the air problems that occur in your basement, Wave Home Solutions can install a ventilation system that works continuously – 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  This is an extremely cost-effective method, in that it only costs pennies per day to run as opposed to the high cost of running a dehumidifier.  It’s also cost-effective because the unit is maintenance free – no need to pay high fees for it to be serviced annually!  Bonus!

Although we run the dehumidifier, you can tell that our basement has stale musty air.  There is no ventilation.  Our family would greatly benefit from the Wave Ventilation System.  If you have musty crawl spaces or basements, I would encourage you to visit their website.  If you have experienced persistent health concerns as those listed above, I would visit their website now!

  1. Thanks for the information! I will have to look into this. I bet it could be spend! We have a big house. The sick home syndrome would also be interesting to look further into. Thanks for the great review. Rita Spratlen rjspratlen@gmail.com
