Renting Textbooks with CampusBookRentals.com Saves Money!

Money is tight for most people nowadays. Back when I was in graduate school, money was extremely tight, but I didn’t have a family at the time to worry about. Now…I have a husband and two kids and we really need to watch how our money is spent. I really enjoy taking courses. There are so many benefits. However, the main negative factor is the price tag attached to it. I have a couple Rubbermaid containers in my basement full of old textbooks and I think back to all the money I had to dish out to buy them…amazing.

Campusbookrentals.com is a website that allows people to rent textbooks and save a significant amount of money. The process is easy – find the book you need and order it, receive it in the mail and use it, then return it when you are done. I was extremely impressed by the fact that you are allowed to highlight in the book. This was a technique I used often to study in college. I was also impressed by the fact that they provide free shipping both when ordering books and returning them!

In checking out their website, I decided to compare the pricing provided with that of Barnes & Noble. The book I chose to compare pricing on was Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Mental Health Workers : A Beginner's Guide. The cost to purchase the book on the Barnes & Noble site is $122.88. On Campusbookrentals.com, the cost is only $45.22 for the semester! That’s an amazing difference!

Back when I was a full-time student, I had NO money.  The money saved from renting textbooks could have been used for food, clothes, gas, and even paying my tuition for the following semester! At this point in my life, the money saved can be used for any number of bills. The bottom line is that renting textbooks helps to save you money and who doesn't want to do that? I have never rented a textbook previously, but after viewing the amount of money that can be saved, I will certainly be checking them out in the future!
