Hicural – The Hiccup Relief Tool – Review

Photobucket

I rarely have the hiccups; however, when I do, it always seems like I’m at work while meeting with a parent or teaching a class. My husband and children often experience them. My husband’s hiccups last so long they hurt. We always try taking sips of water, holding our breath and swallowing three times, and even attempting to scare the living daylights out of each other – but nothing ever works.

I was offered the opportunity to review a new little device that claimed to cure hiccups quickly. It’s called Hicural. It is a long, white, plastic stick that has a small opening in the middle of it. If you are having hiccups, you place it across the opening of your mouth and you bite down gently. You are then instructed to slowly drink some water from a cup. Your hiccups will disappear within 30 seconds.

I have to admit that I was quite skeptical as to whether it would be effective. After receiving it in the mail, I waited and waited for someone to get the hiccups so I could try it. I waited and waited. I waited a little longer. Of course! Not one person got the hiccups for what seemed like forever. Then, it happened! I could hear my daughter hiccupping in the next room and I went running to find the Hicural. I placed in her mouth, had drink a little water, and then we stopped and listened. Silence! Her hiccups were gone within seconds! I can’t wait to try Hicural on my husband, considering his hiccups can be so intense.

I really like the fact that Hicural is a thin little tool that takes up no room whatsoever. It comes in a clear plastic tube so that it can be easily protected and placed in a bag or purse. I love that it works so quickly! The next time I’m in a meeting, I don’t have to sit and be embarrassed while I try and get rid of my hiccups. I can excuse myself, use the Hicural, and promptly return to my meeting! Lastly, the price is great! Only $7.99!

  1. I think I might need this for my daughters! They both get hiccups all the time! When we are at home, I always give them a spoonful of peanut butter- which ALWAYS works. But we don't have peanut butter on hand while we are out of the house, lol!

  2. Oh my gosh, this is awesome. I cannot believe something like this even exists! Two weeks ago I had hiccups for 2 straight days to the point I even considered going to the ER over the weekend to see if they could make them stop.
