FRESCHETTA PROUD TO SUPPORT PINK Program: Review & Giveaway

As most people are well aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. FRESCHETTA has announced their PROUD TO SUPPORT PINK Program. FRESCHETTA has a goal of raising $50,000to donate to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. When you purchase specially marked packages between September 25th and October 31st, $1.00 will be donated to the aforementioned fund. Codes may be entered at www.ProudToSupportPink.com. This website also allows people to share their stories about breast cancer with others. FRESCHETTA is being very generous by giving away 50 pink iPod shuffles every week in October and giving away 50 additional pink iPod shuffles to four cancer centers in the U.S. for patients to use during treatments.

FRESCHETTA was very kind to send me a gift pack that included a coupon for a free FRESCHETTA pizza and two pairs of pink earphones – one for me to keep and one for me to give to a loved one. I chose to buy the Naturally Rising 4-Cheese Pizza. It was delicious! My husband will often roll his eyes at me when I tell him we are going to be eating a frozen dinner or pizza, but I can honestly say he really liked this pizza! The earphones are awesome – they are certainly a reminder to be proactive in remaining healthy, which honestly is something that I forget. I chose to give my second pair to my mother-in-law who had breast cancer a couple of years ago.
