Redesign Your Bathroom with a Vessel Sink & Faucet

I feel like I have the world’s smallest master bathroom. I know I don’t, but it feels like it just the same. When my husband and I first built our house, we were moving from an apartment and we were beyond excited to gain the extra space. It’s now been 11 years and two kids later, we have just about completely outgrown our house.

One of the biggest gripes I have for our house is our master bathroom. There is a small shower, closet, toilet, and a double sink/cabinet combo. I was so excited to order the sink/cabinet combo when we were building because my husband and I didn’t have to share our space any longer! We could spread our stuff out and not have to fight for the mirror! Well….the sink/cabinet combo has become nothing but a nuisance. Yes, my husband and I can keep our stuff separate in the two different cabinets, but we still share just one sink. Why? I have no idea…we just use the same one. So, what’s the point? Why not tear out the sink/cabinet combo and replace it with one sink, place more of our toiletries in the closet, and gain space to our ridiculously small bathroom? Well, I need money to do it first.

I love imagining how I would redesign my living spaces, particularly this bathroom. I would tear out the double sinks and replace it with a vessel sink. Although I like the stone, I really love the glass vessel sinks. They are beautiful and are such a unique feature. If you choose a vessel sink, you need to pick out a vessel sink faucet as well. Some vessel sink faucets are traditional, whereas others are pretty different from the typical faucets I have seen at Home Depot. They are more contemporary and what I would consider more fashionable for the modern home.

  1. Hello friends,

Vessel sink faucets are designed to accommodate a vessel sink and have a unique style that is normally taller than a standard bathroom faucet. Vessel sink faucets are generally mounted on the bathroom counter and mainly come with a single handle because of their tall shape. Thank you...
